New Sports Centre Solar PV Installation
Step Energy successfully delivered a high-performance Solar PV array as part of Loughborough College Group’s New Sports Centre, supporting the College’s sustainability ambitions.
The installation features 76 Aiko & Trina panels, south-facing on a flat roof, alongside a vertical array mounted to the plant area façade, delivering an estimated 29,300 kWh per year.

SolarEdge Limited technology provides SafeDC™ protection, panel-level monitoring, and fault detection, ensuring operational efficiency and peace of mind.
Sustainability & Impact
The PV installation is integrated into the College’s new sports and teaching facility, targeting BREEAM Very Good standards, demonstrating how Step Energy incorporates renewable energy into wider construction schemes to reduce energy costs and carbon footprint.
